Friday 5/14/10 - Congrats to the Zons for defeating Georgetown 8-0. They will advance to play the winner of Batavia/Reading on Monday at 5 at Lakota East. The Stangs beat Purcell Marian 6-3 and will play CHCA on Wednesday at Batavia at 5. Be sure to come support both of these teams as they compete in these Sectional Final games.

Tuesday 5/11/10 - The Zons opened up tournament play with a 10-0 victory over Ripley. They will face Georgetown at home on Wednesday at 5 pm. An incredible 8 players were awarded with all league honors. Christy Spink was recognized for honorable mention, while Amanda Wyrick, Kristen Richardson, and Katelyn Kramer were given second team. The four for first team were Gretchen Staubach, Karli Willing, Taylor James, and Sarah Hammitt. For the first time in recent memory, Player of the Year honors were split between teammates, as Sarah Hammitt and Karli Willing were awarded that honor! The Stangs were victorious over Taft 15-0 and will play on Wednesday at home against Purcell at 5.

Friday 5/7/10 - A big congrats to the Amazon Softball team for winning league and clinching their 3-peat of CHL excellence, with an overall record of 40-1. Amanda Wyrick lead the team offensively over Reading by knocking 2 triples. Sarah Hammitt sealed the deal by tossing 14 Ks.
